The Door Into Noah's Ark
by Pamela Kay Klopfenstein
God told Noah to build an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. God was the designer of the ark. He gave Noah the measurements for the length, the breadth, and the width. Then He told Noah to put a window above, and to set the door in the side of the ark.
Even though I had read the story of Noah's Ark many times, I had not noticed the door to the ark and who it represented. God used pictures, types, figures and shadows to show heavenly things. Noah's Ark, when studied, has so many spiritual things to be seen and taught, but the door caught my attention. In order for Noah to go into the ark, he had to have faith that Christ was going to pay his sin debt. And Noah did have the faith. The Bible says that Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. His faith made him right with God. The door represents Christ. The only way to get into the Ark of Safety is to come through the door.
We learn in Romans; for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
How then shall they call on Him whom they have believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they be sent? Sent by who? The answer is God.
When our pastor delivers his message, I stand in amazement because my spirit bears witness that he has been called by God to preach. Paul said, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things.
Isn't it good news that anyone can enter into the kingdom of heaven by coming through the door? No one is excluded if they believe like Noah did. Simply put, you have to hear the word preached, then believe and have the faith that Christ died for your sins, and come to an altar of repentance when the spirit says to come.
Have you trusted in Christ for the saving of your soul?
And when He does save you, you will know it because no other man has ever spake like God. He makes his presence known. You'll know it when He saves you.

The Bible: A Great Book
The Holy Bible is a magnificent collection of books that is God-inspired. It is accepted by Christians as His will and guide for their lives. It offers an amazing message of love, peace, and hope of salvation. God gave Jesus because of His love for this world, and by placing our faith in Christ, it gives us hope for the future, and a real present peace in our souls.
Many people wonder how they can learn more about God's plan of salvation. Our belief is that people can find out about the hope of salvation by reading, believing, and studying the Bible, and praying so that the Gospel message is understood.
