Purpose and Mission
Ram in the Thicket Biblical Resources (RITTBR) is a Christian site (independent of any congregation or other organization) for the purpose of providing various Biblical study resources and tools for new, seasoned, and nonbelievers via the Internet. It serves as a source for coming into the knowledge of Christ, or broadening and increasing your relationship with Him.

Statement of Faith - We believe:
In One God, the Father, of Whom there is no beginning and there is no end; He is eternal in the heavens (1 John 5:7, John 1:1,
2 Corinthians 5:1, Revelation 1:8).

Jesus, is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit is fully God, who took on the likeness of man to live and die for the sins of the world (John 1:1-5, 14; Romans 8:3).

The Holy Spirit, is the third person in the Trinity, who is fully God. He is eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, has a will, and can speak. He is not particularly visible in the Bible because His ministry is to bear witness of Jesus (John 15:26, 1 John 5:6-7, Hebrews 9:14).

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is profitable for teaching, conviction, correction, and training in righteousness so the man of God is fully prepared (2 Timothy 3:16).

The penalty for man's sin was paid on the cross of Calvary in Jesus' death (Romans 5:6-9).

Jesus provided the gift of Salvation by His shed blood on the cross and living a sinless life (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9). If you would like to know how to receive this free gift, please read more on Salvation.

Jesus Christ will return again to judge the living and dead
(2 Timothy 4:1).

The saints shall reign with Jesus forever (Daniel 7:18, 27; Revelation 22:5).

About the Founder
The founder, Gerre Nelson, is a native of Crockett, Texas where she was reared in a Christian home. She is the second of three children, and the proud mother of one adult son, Kesean Jeffrey Nelson. Her gift from God is playing the piano, where she began at the young age of 3.5 years, on an old upright.

In 1970, Ms. Nelson's family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she completed elementary and high school. She continued playing the piano for various churches serving in the roles of church and assistant pianist. In 1981, she relocated to California and currently resides in the city of San Jose. Since 1991, her church affiliation is with the Jubilee Christian Center.

Ms. Nelson always had an entrepreneurial desire to start her own business, and as a result, God gave her an opportunity to create and administer this website. We are to take God's yoke upon us and learn of Him. Please feel welcome to read and reflect on the poems and quotes presented on the Inspiration page, learn about Biblical Symbols and Terminology, and most of all, take advantage of the various Bible study aids to help you search the scriptures daily.
